Salem Brewery

US$125.00

At the center stands Camano Jake constructed from layered real feathers, grounded and alert, his dark body sharply contrasted against a marbled green watercolor background. The Camano Jake clutches a small, ornate gold charm in his beak—part medallion, part talisman—adorned with tiny red gems and a dangling leaf, suggesting prosperity, luck, or a token of mischief carefully claimed.

Above Camano Jake, hand-rendered vintage lettering reads “Salem Brewery – Wicked Good Beer,” framed by detailed hops, barley, and curling botanical flourishes. The typography and decorative elements evoke old-world apothecary labels and craft beer signage, rooting the piece in Salem’s history of folklore, alchemy, and rebellion.

The contrast between the tactile feathers, metallic embellishments, and soft watercolor washes creates depth and tension—earthy yet enchanted, rustic yet magical. Altogether, the piece feels like a modern relic: Camano Jake as messenger and trickster, carrying both the spirit of craft brewing and the lingering magic of Salem itself.

This framed picture measures 8" by 10" and is ready for hanging.

As with all my art, each piece is based on a fabric background. Some pieces may be similar but never identical with each piece being an original.
